Terms & Conditions

Please ensure you have read and understood the following terms and conditions before making a booking.

 
1) Booking
Bookings will be confirmed when the requested initial deposit has been received.
 
2) Prices & Payments
We reserve the right to change prices offered on our web site and brochures at any time but it will not affect the price of any bookings that have already been confirmed.
Deposit amounts and payment deadline may vary according to the selected product, please refer to the individual terms and conditions which apply to the product you are booking.
Payments online can be processed in Euro (EUR), American dollars (USD) or Australian dollars (AUD). Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any fee or surcharge your card provider and/or bank might apply to the transaction. 
 
3) Cancellation
Please refer to the terms and conditions of the selected product and the attached cancellation fees. Bookings are transferable to a different user which incurs an amendment fee. In case of no-show or interruption of your stay if our responsibility is not engaged, there will be no refund except of the security bond if applicable.
 
4) Responsibility for damage and loss
The customer will be held responsible for any damage to the property and its contents through his fault or fault of any other member of his group or invited guest. The customer will also be responsible for any damages resulting from a third party due to an act committed by the customer throughout the duration of the stay. The members of the party are responsible for any damage caused by the party. The party must comply with any rules and regulations set by the accommodation provider. The party is responsible for payment of any charges made, in applicable properties, for use of facilities such as electricity, gas, water, telephone, linen and security, and for any other fees levied by the accommodation provider for the use of amenities. The total number of people (including infants and children) must not exceed the maximum occupancy shown on the reservation form or on our payment confirmation, otherwise access to the accommodation may be refused or additional amounts charged on arrival. 
A security bond may be payable in case of any damage or loss.
 
5) Star Rating
Star ratings are used to symbolize the overall quality, level of service, food standard and range of facilities available in any given hotel. The criteria applied within each country will vary depending on the specific requirements established by the relevant issuing body. Descriptions on the website are a generalization of all hotels on a worldwide basis and shall be referred to for information purposes only. We cannot guarantee or warrant any kind of services or level of quality offered by hotels. Some countries do not use star ratings for official categorization of hotels.
 
6) Product Information / Published information
Product information posted on our website and our brochures is based on information collected from hotels and suppliers worldwide. Reasonable care has been taken that the content of our website and brochures is correct but it is subject to amendment at any time without notice. All the content published is done in good faith but you acknowledge that we, as booking agent, cannot check the accuracy of all information provided by its suppliers.
 
7) Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend subscribing travel insurance for your peace of mind.
 
8) Refund
There will be no refund for unused content and services. For accommodations, when applicable only security bonds will be refunded under conditions specified on your reservation form.
 
9) Amendments
An amendment fee of USD$60, EUR €50 or AUD$60 will be charged per amendment. Amendments might not be possible within the last 7 days. Note that for some bookings amendments cannot be made.
 
10) Changes of itinerary and accommodations
The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary and substitute accommodation due to circumstances. 
 
11) Not included in tour cost
Visa, insurance, excess baggage, meals not mentioned, vaccinations, airport departure taxes, beverages, tips, shipboard gratuities, items of personal nature like: Laundry, telephone calls etc., cost of passport, personal services to hotel rooms.
 
12) Limitations of liability
We take reasonable care to ensure that published descriptions are correct, Globeoyster will not be responsible and exclude liability for any modification due to tour supplier, accommodation supplier or transportation supplier. In no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential and indirect loss or damage. Our liability shall be limited to the amount paid to us for any booking. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations, which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance, which is beyond our reasonable control.
