The 1st district is one of the oldest in Paris and also covers the smallest by land area. Situated on the right bank of the Seine, it is the home of the Louvre and the Tulleries Gardens which takes up most of the district, and leads up to the Concorde and the Champes Elysees. It is the least populated by residents of all the arrondissements. It is also the home to the Forum des Halles, the city’s largest shopping centre, and an easy walk to many popular areas and attractions.
Charming apartment, well priced with higher standards: location, view, size and an extra touch of comfort.
A great apartment with everything we needed for our family Winter holiday in Paris. Perfect location walking distance from so many major Paris attractions, all manner of shopping and a quick hop step and jump from the markets and patisseries of St Germain des Pres. A Metro station at the end of the street and a small supermarket in the street are the icing on the cake (not to mention the great "Steak Frites" restaurant and boulangerie around the corner!). Would definitely stay there again. Megan M.
